Auto Initiate Chat

You can enable Auto Initiate Chat under the Extras tab on the Settings page, using the option Auto Initiate Chat If an Operator Is Online.


Please note that auto-initiate chat is NOT triggered in the following cases:

  • If the auto-initiate chat was timed for 5 seconds after page load, but the user opens up the chat dialog before this time.
  • If the user has previous active chats (chats which haven’t been ended / archived).
  • If no operator is online.
