Assigning User Roles

Go to Fluent Chat -> Settings -> Operators. Here, you can see a list of all WordPress users (except subscribers) and can assign roles to them. The two available roles are Chat Operator and Chat Admin..

Chat Admin can:

  • Access all chat archives.
  • Access and edit all settings.
  • Edit all user roles except their own.
  • Access and edit all customer info.

Chat Operator can:

  • Access all unanswered chats, and answer them
  • Access own active chats, and answer them
  • Access own chat archives.
  • Access own operator profile.
  • Access and edit customer info from own chats.

You cannot modify your own user role. Another chat admin will have to do that for you.
